I usually do not like flametops, but... nope. still do not want. Cool Les Paul otherwise.

is this new to u or one u have had? ..... I have played a 59RI but could not get on with the Pu's, to weak for my liking, everything else was lovely thou

I think it's beautiful. The old McCarty-style bursts just look so nice on flame top LPs :) And, unlike a lot of aged Fender reissues, it actually looks like it could've been made in '59...

It's kind of funny because it's true. PRS himself comes right out and admits Gibson was the biggest contributing factor to him wanting to build guitars. Hell, they have a model named after the former president of Gibson...

Yh i think its awesome, I do like unusual guitars though. It looks like a prs that has melted, its awesome.

dweezil is getting much love today. his brown sg is better though.

I don't like flame tops either.

The bookmatching on this one wasn't done very well... isn't it supposed to appear to be close to the same grain on both sides?

I'm also a very big fan of very subtle flame and quilt tops. That one is a bit too strong for my liking. I owned a gibson double cut lp that had some nice subtle flame...i hated that guitar though.
