Damn it! I want to change the guard on it.
Just take off and have a custom one made.
I'm planning on having a custom pickguard put on one of my guitars purely for the aesthetics. I've priced the custom work with several specialists I found via internet search. Looks like it will cost about $70 plus shipping.

They'll need the original or an exact template. I'm gonna do it because I can picture the major difference it'll make with this particular axe but it's not something I'd do often.

Like that with the black guard Rich!.. 8)
i plan on a custom tort one for mine, with custom chrome controlplate...

You have to remember these have the conversion necks on, so a stang guard wont fit...and the control plate bit is longer than a stang's as ive offered one up...

I love my duo to bits...infact it woke me up to shortscales again after selling my CIJ Jaguar...i was impressed by the build quality
to be honest...so much so that i bought a Jagmaster on the back of it!

I dont understand the haters....theyre shortscaleish, light, cheap and fun as fuk...

You should be able to put it on any Fender body that is 25.5" scale and it will then be 24' because of the neck.

Like Taylornutt said...theyre 24" scale 21 fret conversion necks like on the Jagmasters....in theory u can stick em on a body with a 25.5" scale without probs...s'what im making for my Jazzmaster project...
Would need a bit of fiddling with intonation tho...
But Jaguars and Mustangs are true 24" scales, so the bridge position differs a lot...

I love the look of that guitar. What type of a bridge is that?

I liked the sound of the CV Duo Sonic when I tried a couple of them, and the look (except for the Wonderbread white of the maple neck) is cool too; but I thought the neck was a bit too chunky for me, so I passed on buying one. Nice guitars at a very reasonable price, and if you like the feel f the neck, you should be pleased with it.

Yeah, the apparent topload of it is what was throwing me off too - but it does look like a Squier Musicmaster bridge...
