ok, so it's not that cool, but i know there was more than just me wondering when the reversed pickup version would be out.

Very cool. I hope the guitar center near me gets one in cause I'm really curious about how much different it will be. My brother has the first version and it's a pretty nice bass, but I don't really care for the positioning of the pickup.

Worst aspect of each guitar. Gratz.
Nah, I'm just speaking from a short man perspective. Big body, wide neck cetera cetera

I like it. I do like the simplicity of just a volume control although I would probably want a tone control on there.

I kinda dig that transparent surf, but the bass on the whole is kinda ho-hum.

Little different
Reverse pickups aren't all that uncommon with other makers, there's not much difference.

P-bass is about the only instrument I use the tone knob on with any regularity.

Yea it's pretty much meant only for people like me who always play with the tone knob all the way up all the time. When you play like that you don't really need the tone knob there.

With a Quarter Pounder, I don't think it's that necessary to roll the tone knob ever.

Walken is a thespian and Hoppus looks a lesbian, that's the closest I can place them.

After further consideration, this is an ok bass. It's something different, but not TOO different. (like everything Fender keeps releasing)
He does kinda look like Walken, lol.
