Boss pedal help

Post by GlobalCooling »

Hey guys, I'm having a problem with a Boss pedal. It's completely new, but the footswitch plate (the piece of metal that your foot actually comes into contact with to press the pedal on) is "loose." It will rock back and forth. So far, the pedal turns on and off fine, but the footswitch plate is a little disconcerting and annoying. I don't think tightening the screws on the side have helped it at all. Is there anyway to fix this? Thanks.

Can't visualise exactly what you're describing but is the hole at the top of the spring locked onto the sticky out piece of metal on the underside of the foot plate properly?

It doesn't matter if you don't know exactly what I was talking about. Lining the spring up with that piece of metal completely solved the problem.

GEORGE F, I WILL LOVE YOU FOREVER. THANK YOU!
