I would like the Mustangs a lot better if they had a Musicmaster / Duo Sonic style bridge instead of a Strat hardtail.
Isn't there a Squier with a through the body hardtail bridge that looks similar to the Duo Sonic / Music Master bridge? I'm sure there was - I'm forgetting the model name though. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Yeah, it's the old "are these pickups any good?" question answered by a million notes per second, none of which are given any space to breath and decay naturally, thereby robbing you of any real chance of figuring out whether they're any good. Stupid. It's not a gear demo, it's a fingers demo. Well, good for you, prick.

It's cool how the guy presenting it has no clue whatsoever. Apparently the 51 was "loosely inspired" by the Squier 51, which it clones down to the screws, but more so by "prototypes" made by Fender in the 60s and 70s, and mods made by legendary players. Which we've all seen, right?
Or how about the Tele Thinline f-hole which was "seen on a lot of Deluxes" and the humbuckers which were "often in the bridge or the neck" of Deluxes.
Sorry to be a trainspotter but that guy's just like some random stoner they spotted on the shop floor and put in front of the camera.
That said - hats off to Fender for throwing a few well chosen variations into the mix. Imagine being a Gibson fan and having to rationalise the Dusk Tiger or the Firebird X to yourself.
