Rondo's RST 3/4 guitars
Does anyone have any experience with the little RST's, the slightly cheapened version that comes in the package deals? I'm thinking of getting one, in part because it's the only 3/4 SX strat currently available from Rondo with rosewood fretboard, and I'm wondering if the neck will go on an SST and whether it's worth playing with. I'd like to put medium frets on a rosewood fretboard type neck instead of the jumbos.

I have the sst one and switched out the neck with a jagmaster conversion neck and love the guitar. I know several people on this forum have the sst version. I don't know if anyone has the combo pack version and that is probably why no one is commenting. I have read the combo one is a cheap version. But I don't know what that really means. I liked the maple neck and they still have some of the more fender looking headstock available. I switched out the neck because it had a slight twist in it that I did not recognize at first.
So, anyway, that is probably why there is no good 411 for you here. Maybe someone will jump in with some insight, but Rondo or the Agile sight can probably help you with good information if you don't get what you need here.

No, it was a conversion neck. There are true shortscale Jagmaster necks, that are the same as Jaguar necks, and there are later necks that are designed to convert a standard 25.5" body set to 24"; it's one of these necks he used.David B. jagmaster
You need the conversion neck version of the Jagmaster. I got mine new off of ebay for around $80. It is a perfect fit. I think Hotrod made a good post about jagmasters and their different versions.
