i believe i saw a du sonic/music master style guitar on here with a musicmaster bass pickguard, anyone have any pics of it? iirc it had a humbucker for a bridge pick up.

It's a Squier Musicmaster from the Vista series.

I saw on Ebay a couple months back someone selling the guitar and the bass together for $400.

They're unfortunately not on par with the rest of the vista series. They were the only model to be made in China while the rest was made in Japan and although they're not bad they don't hold the magic the rest of the series has.

There's one on fleabay now for 329 quid start.
I like them, but i'de be tempted to plop a neck pup in tho.

£329 is taking the piss territory.

He has it previously listed at the same price with the same comment that's on the current one "I've dropped the price to £329 - bills to pay next week - as a special I'll also throw in free postage for the first three bidders (UK only) - Enjoy!"

To be honest I don't think they even match current CV quality and they really should be in the £100-175 range even if they are fairly rare. I owned two before and I think I paid £90 and £110 but I don't remember exactly.
