Wired it all up the other day, it works perfectly, and all that's missing is the volume and tone knobs, currently in the post.
Just so's you know, I went from this:
To this:
The electronics are all brand spanking new, I worked from the ground upwards and all that. Surprisingly much simpler than I expected it to be. Sounds chunky as fuck. And because I didn't cannibalise anything from the other pickguard all I need to do to swap it back over is to de-solder the bridge ground wire and throw the other scratchplate on.
This axe is now the spirit of rock and roll.

I kinda like the original single coils, but those hums are way better than the original. Ditching the blade selector was an ace choice.

Well done . In all honesty I like both variations but with yours you in no way ruined it . Just your take on it . And them GFS Loudmouths are great pickups .
