Saw this on the Orange forum yesterday - does look cool.

Now all we need a super clean Terror and your bands won't have to lug around 60 pound heads ever again!

I agree with the quote asking for a super clean TT head, using pedals as I do amps that break up at low volumes just don't work for me.

You should probably avoid Class A, 15W amps then. If you want a super clean portable amp - look Solid State, not tube.

Nothing Clean and Tube will be remotely light.

Crate Power Block is the smallest, lightest, most sterile clean amp I've ever played through.

I won't be, i've learned from that mistake. I'm happy with my Bassman, it's not that heavy compared to other tube amp heads and using any head (including a TT) requires a cab which means i'd need to have transport if using it to gig anyway.

The thing is, priced at £399 it's not that far off the price of a TH30 which has twice the power, is also switchable down to 15/7W and has two channels.

Zactly... I plan on buying me a TH30 on my 30th B-Day next yr.... all the Dark Terror is is this drive chan with less power

On another note, I noticed yesterday that Musiciansfriend now has the Rocker 30 in their new catolog...R they bring it back?

Edit.... I just looked on mf.com and they do not hav it on there so it must just be a misprint...

They should fire their marketing department. How could they not use "Blood Orange" which is an actual variety of orange and has the same brutality quotient as "Dark Terror". "Dark Terror"? That sounds like a slogan in the deep South, or a terrible movie directed by Uwe Bole.

Probably because this amp in red wouldn't look anywhere near as good as it does in black.

I think it looks awesome, but for the price, I'd be more likely to go for a TH30 so I could get the second channel, and higher wattage.

depends on how much gain u use..... if u play hard rock/metal get the TH30..... if u like more classic sounds get the DT
