JHS Spongebob 7/8 Size Guitar

Post by honeyiscool »

Does anybody know anything about these awesome hotnesses?

I am in love. I see that they're about 85 pounds on Amazon:

Are they short scale? If so, how much does it generally cost to ship something like this to America?

It says on the website that while the guitar is smaller the neck is "full size". I assume that means 25.5 but it doesn't look like it. It could just be the smaller body throwing off the perspective, though.

Yeah I'm getting the sense that they're 25.5"

The neck looks similar to their "full-sized" offering, which they say has a 25.5" scale 22-fret neck.

Grrrr.

Saw one of these in a shop - not sure if fullsize neck ...I didn't think to check but it doesn't look full size in my terrible memory. What it does look like 'in the flesh' is terrible AWFUL quality.

Why didn't they build these well, I wonder.

The Hello Kitty guitar was pretty damn great.

Cheap JHS guitars are terrible. The sort of thing that can put a beginner completely off playing.
