You could buy a new one for $106.90 with a hardshell case in 1977 but that is $390.39 in 2011 dollars. The guitar in the auction sold for $326.00 and it was beatup and had no case. I'd say that is pretty good resale value for a cheap guitar.

this guitar is pretty neat. from what I found out after looking into electras when I got that guitar from portugalwillie is that, electra later merged with westone and they eventually became Crate.

this makes sense cuz Crate was owned by Saint Louis Music Corp and that old ad has a STL addy in it and I see tons of these old Electra's around here, and even Willie is in MO too

That Electra tele was made in the Fujigen Gakki factory. It is basically it is the same as an Ibanez tele with a humbucker in the neck.
This one was made for a UK distributor

I dig how a can opener was applied to the B5 bridge plate to produce a place for the saddles to anchor.

Ugh... I choked on an Ibanez exactly like that, on craigslist for $200 this week.
DO WANT CTRL PLATE MOUNTED OUTPUT JACK/THREE WAY SWITCH AND ROSEWOOD!
