Nice! Love the flowers. Have a demo?

Also, nice MG-1. I want one of those.

thanks! the electronics are a little iffy right now, but i'll try to make a demo when i get the insides cleaned out a little more.

I got the mg-1 from my friend for super cheap. you can get some awesome fuzzed out bass noises with it.

where did the volume pedal go? I guess its gone..

Looks ace, I really want to do something similar to my Lowrey Genie organ. I also need to tighten whatever mechanism controls the tuning on that thing because it is slightly sharp.

the volume pedal is detachable. its this weird 4 pin connector cable. i kept the bottom half with the speaker in and re-enforced it so it still works as a stand when its in my basement. the
top half just lifts off of it. i couldnt tell you what mechanism tunes the organ, im still trying to make the lights i the front come on. mine is pretty in tune (surprisingly). i dumped a lot of
nasty stuff out of it when i initially took it apart.

Nice. Was any of it real wood? It looked like a lot of heavy overhead.

I saw some graffiti once that said:

Government is the necessary wet nurse for people who can't suck for themselves.

the only real wood on it is the wood i made the very bottom out of. its surprisingly light. i'm excited to drag it out for our next show.

this is really cool. what kind of organ is it? it seems like a good one for this project as it is relatively small and simple.

Thanks! its a Lowrey "Genie". i didn't have to do much to it at all. disconnect the speaker, bypass the volume pedal, cut off the bottom, attach some handles (not shown in photo) and fashion a sturdy bottom for it so it can sit on a keyboard stand. the electronics don't function 100% correctly but its in tune and does what i want it to. i traded an old skateboard for it so i wont be to heartbroken if it decides to stop working. i dont know how many transistor organs i've passed up lying on the side of the street over the years but i have learned that i am never going to waste 400+ dollars for an old combo organ like i had originally had planned on buying (no mater how cool they look).
