Black International - Radio 1 (Scotland) session link

Post by Empires »

Alrighty folks,

I think I have a link that'll allow you to listen to the Scottish regional broadcast of Black International's session online. Hopefully this means you'll hear them play three songs instead of one on the UK wide broadcast.

Starts at midnight

Erm, I've a funny feeling this is the UK broadcast... not the Scottish regional version.

I'll keep hunting.

Yes, it's started

I'm not aware of a set time... there'll be a link to 'listen again' at some stage so don't worry about missing it completely

Sounded pretty fuckin' great - pity about the prick of a DJ talking over the end of it....

Yeah shoot -- one song via that link, and he talked over about half of it

EDIT: You just beat me to the punch, twice.

what a fucking plum, i can't believe he blethered all over the end. to be honest, the way they mixed that song was really weird, the levels fluctuate strangely. i haven't heard the ones we actually did live on air, i hope they sounded better than that.

there'll be a listen again link up tomorrow (i think) on ally mccrae's page, should be available for 7 days. i'll do a recording of it on my zoom thing and post our bits for ease of listening.

Will this version have the dumbass DJ speaking over it? Or was that just the BBC version I listened to (just the one song).

Also you would think that the studio you played at would hit you up with some mp3 recordings, no?

the others don't have talking over them. i'm not sure what the deal is with them supplying recordings, we'll work something out though. the show we were on should be available here at some point today- http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00zzp50#synopsis

Looks like it's subject to rights restrictions outside the UK. Is there another way to hear a recording?

Patience grasshopper... We haven't heard the full session yet either. I'll get a recording as soon as they make it available on the site.

Also- i'm sure we're not THAT ugly in real life ^^

Jesus.

I think the new member of the band doesn't really fit your moody Scot stylings.

There's no way he's fat enough to be in our band.

Stewart is wearing his own band t-shirt at a band-related event.

Instant dismissal, you know the rules.
