im kinda thinking at this point that this thing deserves a rodvonbon paint job to get it back to its puke yellow white glory. hell its already been painted once, one more time aint going to hurt the valu of it

You could probably bring that finish back with a lot of time light sanding / thinners / buffing etc.... try an area under the guard.

Great score! I found a '65 in that exact color combo at a local pawn shop about 6 or 7 years ago for $525 w/OG grey case!! only thing
not original were the pickups, they were Lace Golds.
