gig in sheffield 19th april

Post by johnniespring »

after our poor performance at the gig with black international in march we have somehow managed to get offered another gig. this one is with a band called the silent age and it's for their album release party. it's at the green room in sheffield on tues 19th april. i know no other details.

they were the ones that i asked to play when you played in sheffield except one of them was working that night and another had a shift starting at 4am the next morning.
adam and i were talking about it earlier tonight. it seemed really bad to us cos all we could hear onstage was the vocals which kind of put us off singing and the stuff with me knocking over your amp. so it felt like a really bad gig to us.

yeah. no more slippy shoes on a slippy stage. is your amp sorted yet? went amp shopping with adam today. he wanted a tiny terror but ended up buying a deluxe.

nah, i haven't had time to have it looked at. it needs a service anyway, but i imagine i'll have to stick it in the shop for a week at least and i've been using it every few days more or less.

ah don't worry about it, accidents happen. while you're on, any chance we could briefly crash at yours this thursday? we'd be away early doors on friday...

*craftily plays on amp guilt*
