Would you trust this seller...

...if they can't even read the name of the guitar from the headstock? If it's legit that is.

Probably a scam, unless the seller is a real thicko. Text has been nicked from this website.

Hmmm... says they've only been posting since April 2011 so I'd be wary. You could always email them asking to see more photos of the guitar. If they can produce them then it might help you in deciding what their deal is.

You could ask to try the guitar out first before you buy - that way you'll get to see if its legit.

Always a scam.

Gumtree is riddled with them. Stock photo, mismatching description etc.

I wonder why they didn't bother to lift the pics with the text?

That's why I asked if you'd trust them.

I wasn't interested in buying, just posted it for amusement value.

Because they are obviously stupid.

I reported it using the report scam function on gumtree. Hopefully nobody sent any money.

Good work Johno. Link now doesn't work so I guess they've already removed it.

That reminds me of the 1966 Fender Stratocaster that was for sale at 2.800 € in the german gumtreeish thing :) I just mailed the guy to tell him his price is a bit too low (description seemed legit, item location Munich, sounded like an older man trying to sell his older guitar). Then I got a mail to send money to Spain
