i generally prefer cotton to almost anything. nylon just hurts, and leather is sweaty.
i have a generic fender tweed looking strap made of cotton. it's pretty much perfect for me.
i used to rock a leather strap with a zillion metal studs in it, for irony, pretty much

I've only ever used black Ernie Ball straps, have no idea what they are made of or how wide they are or anything else - all I know is that they do the job and I like them.

Its depressing that Im too short for these, theyre just too long for me. They worked for the whole guitar round by my knees but not the nipplescratching height I go for now.

I have a rainbow one too.

totally stole the idea from benecol. colorful straps are good for monochromatic guitars.

I love my Levy's straps or just good old Fender ones.

What's an Arab strap in your context?

it's more or less a cock ring.

(I apologize for the unfunny, impulsive post)

Oh right, I thought it might be similar to "Arabian goggles" in some respect.

This is the one I always revert back to... have spent fortunes on straps but they're just not like this old pair of slippers.
