Tragedy strikes!

The pickguard cooter cut for me doesn't fit any of the chrome plates... I'll have to see about getting him to cut a new one for me.

looks killer, and just fix it with sand paper.
i had a similar issue with the lower plate, and the edge of the upper plate.
coule have been issues with my tracing, but who knows (i didn't take shots of the two next to each other as the og guard is now else where)

It doesn't look that far off the mark in your picture...

Sanding would have worked for the switch plate and lower controls, but the upper plate was waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay off. Cooter and I suspect the template he had may have been made from a vintage guard that shrank, he's on the case though.

I'll tell you what, that neck fits in the pocket like a dream. Locks in like legos, stays on without screws!

Picking up a couple on "on-on"s today from the guitar shop and then I'll have all of the parts necesary to slap this bitch together,

Well almost all... still waiting on the MOST VITAL and SUPER SECRET component. But I'm pretty sure that bit's in the mail as we speak!

If I ever want the decal back I just have to sand this off. It's just a sticker clear coated onto the headstock.
