Well it looks like you could unscrew/remove the cover. Anybody know for sure?
The magnets are on the sides. The top plate completes the magnetic field. These pickups came on the Supro Ozark guitar. Ry Cooder saw a guy in Mississippi playing one and put one on his Strat. It adds a lot of sustain and is high output. Great for slide.
