Oooooooohhh lookin sharp old bean! Reminds me of a natural Stang i saw in a Coventry music shop many moons ago...the f#cker wouldnt sell it to me any cheaper or cut me a deal, even tho he'd had it for yonks :?

It doesnt much look like a dirty protest to me!
..more of a granny-knitted-much-too-big xmas jumper colour...but it'll sound fappin ace so who gives a toss its poo poo coloured??
Au-Naturel as they say...

What pickup u using?...ive been eyeing up strat jobbies on fleabay..just incase like!

I'm thinking of buying a Strat set, and using them on this and another project.
This kind of thing: Belcat Artec or Ironstone
I'll need to wait until pay day whatever I do. I might have to throw in a temporary rail type pickup if I don't have funds.
My first priority is getting it laquered, again after pay day.

Those Artecs look like they'd melt your face...but yeh budget is a factor...tell me about it!
Although id plump for the Belcats or similar without staggered poles...unless youre not using the closed covers...
Im sure a set of cij pickups would sound fab..

Goodstuff coming soon then old chap! Thats great news...I've been creative with a bit of paint mixing myself, tryna come up with a gold/green sparkle mix..for my Jazzer build, learning curve all the way!! ;-)

Ive also got some 7k pickups comin my way courtesy of eBay, so it looks like I'm following your example with a mustang or bronco build too!..inspiring stuff!..

Well, it's a fucking GUITAR!
Quick recap; 1piece Mahogany body, Squier mini strat neck, Rail pickup (for now), 500k pots, Witch-hat knobs, toploader bridge,

I've still got to put a few screws in the pickguard, and ideally I would like to have a different pickup.
Still needs setting up, but I'm happy with it so far.
BTW I tuned it up to G# (like standard tune capo'd on 4th fret)

Love the mahogany body and black guard, has a 70's vibe. Good work adam.
