Was the G&L SC series ever offered in shortscale?

The original shortscale guitars; Mustangs, Duo-Sonics, Musicmasters, Jaguars, Broncos, Jag-stang, Jagmaster, Super-Sonic, Cyclone, and Toronados.

Was the G&L SC series ever offered in shortscale?

Post by Din of Win »

I have both a roommate and a good friend that are both HUGE fans of G&L. As such, their basses and guitars have grown on me very much over the past few years. Well... the good ol' IRS has been kind to me, and i have some $$$ to invest in a guitar, and i'd LOVE to get a G&L...

Right now, the Mustang-esque body of the SC series has my interest piqued the most! However, i think they are only offered with the 25.5" scale :/

Does anyone know if there was a year or model type where they were offered in 24"?

If not the SC series; did/does G&L make a shortscale guitar?!

Thanks!!

I think the 1 and 3 are the 3 bolt... the newer stuff (sc-2) seems to be swaying more twards the 'fender standard'.

Yeah... 'invest' was probably a poor choice of words ;)

But used, G&L's are hard deals to beat!

That probably has something to do with the fact they make guitars.

This is exactly the same as my roommate's G&L ASAT, but his is a US and not a Tribute. Same color-combo/design though:
