Does anyone build custom Jaguar pick guards?

Painting? Routing? Set-up tips? Or just straight-up making a guitar from scratch? Post here, and post pics!

Does anyone build custom Jaguar pick guards?

Post by johnne lee »

I'm new to SS.O and therefore can not view the "Classifieds" forum. So...

I wish to buy a Jaguar pick guard cut to my design. I certainly don't the tools, time, skill or knowledge to do it myself. Who cuts them for sale?

I would appreciate any guidance the Forum-ites can provide.

Also, is it legal to buy parts/instruments/etc from other Forum members even though I have no access to the "Classifieds"?

TIA,

JL

I just bought a pickguard on ebay from Jeannie's pickguards. You can try them.

Jeannies pickguards have a very bad reputation around here based on extremely poor customer service and inaccuracies in their products. One to avoid.

Got my Jagstang & Jazzmaster pg through Jeannies. Had em do some "custom" routes, not off the shelf type. Great service.

Guitars parts resource, people here swear by em. They did not answer about 30 of my phone calls, voice mails & emails. Had to get paypal to give me my money back after 3 weeks or no part/response.

Guess everyone has different experiences.

You guys are funny. Jeannie does solid work and they're not 24/7 dicks like SS.org wants you to believe.
