Any Godin SD owners?

Talk about all other types of guitars. Jazzmasters and basses go here!

Any Godin SD owners?

Post by h8mtv »

I have become interested in the Godin SD since I ran across one on Ebay a week or so ago. I have an Art and Lutherie Ami acoustic so I am sort of familiar with Godin and their quality. They look like cool guitars and the price is nice enough. Any of you fellow short scale fans ever picked one up?

I'm a pretty big fan of Godin in general. I own an Exit 22, and have tested several of their more common models... quality throughout. Sound wise, it kinda depends on which model and what sound you want from them.

Not a big fan. I had one myself mainly just becuase it came up locally really cheap. Neck was a bit thin and cheaply finished and the pups were a bit ho hum. Not a bad guitar and I picked it up used with a case for 200 so it was good for that price, but not exactly a great guitar in my opinion.
