Concept Choppers

Post by Joey »

I see alot of "parts" choppers. Just don't seem many guitar body choppers though. I had way to much time, template & plywood today.... It's something I sketched/chopped up on to some plywood real quick. Jazzmaster Azz, with Mustang Armz, Duo Guarz, Jag Platz.

Post some real choppers, that feature 2 or more guitar body chopped into one. My favorite is the Jazzmaster with Mossy carves. I gottsa sketches of this Jazzstang with Mossy carves on my garage wall, really wannsa attempt it.

I love spliced up guitar designs, my main guitar is kind of like a PRS singlecut with a Jazzmaster butt end. It looks like its melted a bit 8)

My go to bucker guitar is a Squire M-80. Sort of the love child between a Mustang and an SG.

That look BADASS, some massive booty on that thing.

I dunno, I've never mashed up a body like that but I'd like to build commission one of these

Image

Mustang body and control plate, Strat neck and pickups, Jaguar Trem, side jack like a Tele. In fact I'd probably try and stick a Tele bridge plate and pickup like on the Bigsby Teles kind of like this...

I'm designing templates for a mashup of my own.
Based on the Marauder drawing mezzio13 posted in THIS THREAD.

Image

Marauder shape, Jag plates, Mustang trem, and Jazzmaster pickups.
Oh and I want it to be 1.5" thick like a Mustang too.
