looks very nice and will, even with all the minor issues, sound better then the jagstang (which is also nice to look at)

How is the Musicmaster treating you? I simply adore mine and have discovered it's great for slide as well as general rocking out.

thanks for your interest, taylor. it is a really nice guitar. while the neck is larger than i'd hoped, it plays very well, and is nice and worn. port_willie loves the neck, but HE LIKES THEM BIGGER.

the pickup is really great, and has totally bad ass cleans. it doesn't work as well with dirt, but holds it's own.

for issues of transparency, i've been seriously considering a downsize at some point, and as this was the last one in, it will probably be the first out (ala Nick). i've been contemplating getting rid of my jaggie-so-pretty, as i rarely play it, and the musicmaster to free up some funds and finish a few projects.

Which Jag do you have? What else are you downsizing? Once I get both Mustangs built, I thought I might have to let my Musicmaster go, but if it becomes my slide guitar then I could justify keeping it. The pickup in the Musicmaster turned out to be a rare red 80's strat pickup, which is why it sounds so good. I doubt I could ever part with it but you never know.

Yes, the Recycle-stang!!! Is that a Japanese jaguar? What projects are you thinking of undertaking?

it is a 96-97 CIJ.

i've got no less than 4 projects that need massive amounts of attention.

- RobOG jaguar body with full size jazzmaster style guard - needs everything but body and neck.

- Esquire project - needs electrics, and paint

- jazzblaster (ex-serfx/ends/stereoridnary) - needs to be wired, and i need to shit or get off the pot on ends' blacktop neck.

- bronco/musicmaster bass - needs to be wired and strung up.

i literally have no money or time to work on any of them. apparently my wife believes them to be of lesser priority than converting our bedroom bathroom into a laundry room?! which is a huge pain in the dong.
