nice. 4 string is much easier to deal with to a mandolinist/picking guitarist.
I had a 5 string for 6 years and got nowhere with it, swapped it for a fiddle 2 weeks ago and I've gotten further with the fiddle than I ever did with the 5string.
Anybody know anything about banjos or mandolins?

I think a banjitar (6 string banjo) which is tuned just like a guitar is a fun thing to play - - - gets the banjo vibe while having the same tuning as a guitar.
