Mobile/Late Night Practice tools similar to the Pocket Pod?

Post by dorfmeister »

Looking for a cheap, portable, mobile and late night practice tool. I've seen the Pocket Pod but honestly I generally have a distaste for the Line 6 stuff.

What else is out there that is similar?

That one looks pretty intriguing. I like the idea of being able to do recording on it. I have heard, though, that it is kind of complex to operate....lots of menu diving. What do you think?

Not super cheap, but a versatile bit of kit:

Yeah, that's why I said not super cheap (assuming you needed to buy the iPod)... but it's a great bit of software, PLUS you get an iPod :P It's win/win. You can even record directly in the app. Amplitube Fender is an even better value than straight up Amplitube.
