TRS Jacks - noob'd and confused

Right, so I've gone and completely confused myself.

If the jack terminals are all closest to me is it TSR or TRS?

Is the bottom right picture correct? I've gotten two circuits that aren't working lately and I'm driving myself nuts trying to figure out what I did wrong. I guess what's mostly confused me are the two Beavis Audio jacks at the top right... which seemingly say different things, or I'm wrong? I don't know, I'm just questioning everything now...

The two at the top right are a stereo (T/R/S) socket and a switched mono (T/S) socket. They're for different applications.

[edit] Sorry, that's the next two down.

You might want to use a multimeter. I don't think there's a stone cold standard for this type of thing.

The left-hand of those two in the top right doesn't make sense. The 'sleeve' tag is furthest away from where you stick the plug in using this method of construction, but in that picture it looks like the middle layer.

Easy way to remember with Neutrik jacks is that the lugs are opposite the connections.

Yes, this one of those in your picture is wrong.

They've got sleeve and ring the wrong way round.
