Yeah, if Fender and I were cell mates, I would definitely be the bitch and I'd love it, too.
When a Leo Fender designed guitar has some oddity about it, I somehow think that "Leo wanted it that way" is a perfectly apt reason to keep it exactly the way Leo wanted it. In many ways, I can understand how Christians feel.
Even the Fender guitars I don't like, I prefer to most non-Fenders I kinda like.hotrodperlmutter wrote:i desire many fender guitars.

Thing I've always loved about that is he didn't stick to previous designs. The most recent iterations of "Leo wanted it that way" would get you a G&L. He even didn't want to use the Tele shape for the ASATs. "Leo wanted it that way" is more like "Leo made it that way before he found a better way of doing things".honeyiscool wrote:When a Leo Fender designed guitar has some oddity about it, I somehow think that "Leo wanted it that way" is a perfectly apt reason to keep it exactly the way Leo wanted it. I know I'm preaching to the choir.
