Now I shouldn't have to pack my board with a jumper to stop things moving about.

i'm so jealous of this, it looks amazing and puts to shame the strips of carpet I put on my gormboard

It's class looking. Looks like grass, like your growing sounds. In some sort of soundgarden.

Very cool, I was thinking about doing this myself a couple of months ago - think I made a thread about it too. Either way kind of wish I'd done it now.

Looks brilliant Sean! Seriously inspired stuffs. I am likely to totally rip off this idea in the near future (just so you know) because it's ace. Maybe red shag-pile to go with my curtains and arrangement of candles? I think my room might end up looking like a boudoir in the end. Nice.

Sweet.
Me and my girlfriend bought that carpet only to realise that it looked weird with all the other colors going on in the room we put it in.
We got the poo-brown one instead, problem solved.
Swedes really do love to get their IKEA on, but that goes without saying right?
My girlfriend even has a part time job there haha...
I think she should hook me up with a custom gorm pedal board, at least

I'm very tempted to put this carpet into a smaller board, are the stagg or kinsman cases any good? I need something light.

I have a stagg, and it's fine. Just don't use that ultra strong male velcro on the pedals, or it will rip off the velcro from the board.
Does the carpet keep the pedals from moving around to much, or do they still need to have velcro?

Is it light? Because I'm looking for something lighter than my Diago which ways a tonne.

YES! Use the lid for standing on and the board for stomping on.
