Fugly. More Fendery headstock would definitely look better than the regular 3x3 and this.

The shape of the lower horn on his guitar closer resembles the Jet King than the ORM1 too. Perhaps some sort of prototype before he bursts out a new model with the new Mars Volta Album?

Yeah, he looks like James Dean Bradfield.

I've always wanted to try an ORM but the 3 a side headstock puts me off, it feels weird for me when tuning 3 a side. Looking forward to the new TMV album though.

I've never known two musicians to burn so bright for exactly one album and then make just complete claptrap afterwards in some ridiculous jazz rock nonsense band.

If you're talking about At The Drive-In, they made 3 really good albums. I've yet to hear any The Mars Volta albums that I would describe as nonsense or claptrap, but I guess it's all a matter of opinion.
