I had a quick thrash on one of them in a local shop. From the 90 or so second assessment, I liked it.
I was right by the 'you must never play any of our guitars, without permission, etc... ' sign, so had to put it down.
I was suprised at how small the body is.
The scale length works for me better than most.

I looked into getting a Malibu or a Sonoran, I think most, if not all Fender acoustics are 'laminated' or plywood to you or I.

love how skinny the body is, but i bet it's got a neck too fat for my liking.

i had a Sonoran SCE, and this was the case, except the body was fucking huge too.

I liked the bigger Malibu. This one looks like it would be unbalanced in my lap but I'd like to try it out.

Never been a fan of an electric neck on an acoustic guitar. Feels weird to me.

then it may be right up your alley, because the fender acoustic necks these days don't resemble any electrics i've ever played.

I did my work experience there, there isnt really any method to which guitars those tags go on. They don't mind if you play the guitars either way as long as you don't dent one of the martins or taylors.

Nay. I own one, and it's not very good. And I can't sell it, because it was a gift from my parents (who have specifically asked me never to sell it). Oh well, it looks nice, so it'll make a nice wall decoration when I get a home of my own.

Don't you hate that. A gift with strings attached. My ex gave me an acoustic that although I appreciated the gift I hated the guitar with a passion. She took most everything I had but she left that damn guitar behind.

Yeah, Accedemy of Sound.
They didn't tell me to put it down, I just put it back out of fear of a telling off.

Dawsons are easily the worst for that, they don't like anybody touching the guitars at all. Not that I'm that bothered about an entire wall of Gibson Les Pauls/SGs or Fender Strats anyway.
