But what made you want the 350 at the age of 10?
Not a 350 exactly, they didn't make them yet. I wanted a "3/4" Rickenbacker like John Lennon had. Of course I know now that guitar is a 325 but back then all I knew was that it was a "3/4" Rickenbacker.

Image

Six years ago when my guitar obsession started one of the first guitars I bought was 325c58.

Image

Later I had a 325v63

Image

a 320 and 325c64

Image

But I decided I couldn't make a shortscale Rickenbacker my main guitar so I tried a 350v63. It has the 3/4 body with a full scale neck

Image

Still that one wasn't right It wasn't until I found the 350 Liverpool that I realized I had found the perfect "3/4 Rickenbacker (for me) because this guitar has the 3/4 body with a longer neck but it has the same pickup spacing as the 325.

The other thing cool about this 350 is the color. It's the only white one that I have seen besides Susanna Hoffs.

My First guitar. Had it since 1996. Dont know much about it except that the headstock has Heit Deluxe written on it.

Image
First guitar I ever bought with my own money. 1996 MIM Fender Stratocaster. In 1999 I replaced the pickups with a Blue lace sensor in the neck and 2 red lace sensors in middle and bridge.

Image
2000 Gibson Les Paul Standard. Honeyburst with 490/498 pickups. Believe its weight relieved.

Image
First Acoustic guitar I bought. 2000 Fender DG-16. For some reason I really liked the cross inlays at the time.

Image
Ovation Celebrity. This guitar gets some hate around here but I really dig the neck on this guitar.

Image
Fender Blacktop Jaguar. I love this guitar. Only guitar I own where I can play police riffs without screwing them up. The neck has almost the same feel as my strat. Might change the pickups though.

Dood, what does it sound like when the two reds are both on!? This is need-to-know, life-or-death shit!

Ill do my best to describe the sounds based on how I use the pickups. Much of the sounds have as much to do with the pickups as well as their relative position to the strings.

For Cleans I like to use the Neck Blue and Middle Red.
For a brighter/twangier (not very twangy but as twangy as sensors get) sound I use just the Blue.
For a warmer clean I stick to the blue/red combo.

For overdriven/distortion I use Middle Red and Bridge Red.
Middle red for fuzzy type distortion that has a bass boost. Hardly ever use this.
Red/Red for nice overdriven tone which has a mid boost. This is where I live if I am playing overdriven rhythm parts.
Bridge Red for a crunchier distortion. Seems like the trebliest of the pickups. I only use this for playing lead parts cause it feels like you get a slight volume boost as well.

When I play I have one overdrive setting and switch between the overdrive sound I want just by switching pickups and nothing else. Hope this helps.

I designed this wiring configuration to maximize the awesomeness of Lace Sensors.

Image

I use it with Gold Sensors but don't see why Reds couldn't work either. Basically, it wires the bridge + middle in series with each other to make a dual coil "humbucker" (not really because the Laces will not be RWRP, but bear with me), but has a roll-off knob (the Dial pot in the picture) as the second tone knob, much like a Spin-a-Split for a humbucker. Then, it uses the existing five-way switch to give you the following five positions:

1) Bridge/Mid Dual Coil
2) Bridge/Mid Dual Coil + Neck
3) Neck
4) Bridge/Mid Split + Neck
5) Bridge/Mid Split

In the split positions, the 2nd tone knob can be used to dial in just your desired amount of the middle pickup into the mix.

This is a very non-Stratty configuration, obviously, but I absolutely love it with my V Series Gold Sensors.

Yes,I bought it online so I just have those photos from the seller . Mine is #15 of 30. It is not the same one I posted in the thread about the Ramones. That one is # 9. (Mine cost $500 less).
