Unlike the Supersonic, the pickguard jutting out like that in a reverse shape gives it an amoeba-esque Explorer look of sorts. Gonna call it the ExplotarFender Exploder for now.
A Thundertron on a black P-Bass w/maple neck is way more my style, forget the fact that the pickguard is just for show.
This looks fucking fantastic and is totally right up my alley, and I don't even play that high up the neck, but I can't stand how that lower bout is just like "fuck off, nobody's gonna be doing shit up Here!" At least let me have the illusion of beingable to do shit in the upper register!
I like how they call it a Greasebucket wiring, but the control knob is for Greasebuckt. Apparently their copy editor is based out of the the MIM plant.

There's a thread over at TDRPI where the Fender Custom Shop dude gets all butt hurt about people bashing his guitar. I'm sure he's alright in person, but HE IS NOT UP TO TASK WITH INTERNETZ SHIT and comes out kinda looking like a little bitch, and internet people hang tuff, and you act like a bitch, everybody gonna make you their bitch on the webz. Also I drank too may beers and think I PM'd this post to Pumpkin twice beffore realizing what the fuck I's doin. Sorry
I actually really like the Jazzmaster. Does seem like it'd be a pain to play higher up the neck, but I like it. I just wish they were sparkly and fresh, not "relic'd".
What does 'hand selected' mean when talking about wood, that a person picked it up from the shelf rather than a machine? That's almost as bad as 'specially selected' pickups, which I assume means that they didn't just stick their hand in a bucket full of single coils and hope for the best with what they pulled out.
It's like in this burger place we go to where they market the chips as "fried twice", basically meaning they fry a load up, let them sit there for an hour then flash fry them again before serving.
