They look nice but they're pretty bad quality IMO... had to repair that exact Bass yesterday. SO much wrong with it... Nightmare !!
And that trem is so stiff and unusual. The arm is about 10 miles from the guitar.... nasty nasty.
Personally I would go near them. A polished turd springs to mind, but a nice coloured turd all the same

These are nice looking but I just can't get on with SG's. I played one of these and thought it was nice though.
The rest of the stuff looks cool too. Not too fond of the guitars that Andi posted, I think that white and gold nearly always looks like a cheap copy of a White Falcon. I think that's maybe the only guitar that can pull off that scheme well.

I don't really think of Epiphone as a daughter company, more like an abused junior partner who gets given all the shit jobs that the senior partner knows will make them unpopular (a Clegg, if you will). I really like Epiphone originals, like the Casino, the Sheraton and the Emperor.colabonham wrote:edit. Also nice to see that the other daughter company is also way cooler than the parent.

Hope these beauties play as good as they look.
I've been an Epiphone fan since I learned the company history. As many of you probably know, Epi used to be Gibson's biggest competitor, matching or exceeding Gibson quality. Truly the best playin guitar I own is an Epiphone from 1963. But lots of cheap-ass guitars with the Epi name have been sold to rank beginners over the years...
Hope the name reconnects with its heritage.
