Yes, I'm aware what racism is and perhaps it was a bit of a strong word, so... xenophobic? You flipped pretty quickly to just trashing Britain for what still seems a couple of spurious, ill-thought-out reasons. Britain killed a million in the potato famine? Over 150 years ago? Not minimising it or anything (I'm descended from Irish that fled the famine, in fact) but isn't that an odd thing to hold against the UK in 2011? But fair enough; the USA is also obviously currently a shithole because of segregation.

So to sum up:

I did my law degree as a post graduate, which isn't that common here. Quite a few people on my course were lawyers from other countries converting to English law, including one Scot, which must have been super annoying for him since the two systems are so close.

Oh dear god another fucking idiot. Let me state this quite clearly for the entire world. What some people did before I was born has nothing whatsoever to do with me. I am not 'Britain'. I don't seem to remember Australia having the best track record with it's indigenous peoples either - even after they stopped being 'British'. Since many Australians are descended from British people you are therefore entirely responsible for all British misdemeanors and acts of aggression before the settling of Australia.
