Buddy Holly (yours truly on vox)
I Bet That You Look Good On The Dancefloor
Mr Brightside (Jon on vox) - this sounds hilariously like someone trying to master the guitar part on GUITAR HERO

Your singing voice is not dissimilar to mine. I was playing it on my laptop and my wife said, "Did you do a weezer song?"

Also, I like that Woodshed song. The intro is really pretty.

You poor bugger! I'm not really happy with my voice as a lead vocalist, much prefer singing backing although it's fun once in a while to do something new

Cheers for listening!

Shouldn't that be "Wangover Square"?

hahah yeah it's the odd one out. It was going to be called "We Will Miss You" but it's a bit of a crap title.

Not that it's stopped us before.

Great live mix, and the stereo spread is fantastic! Everyone sounds great.

Also, I'm always fascinated by the drifting of regional accents while singing. Is "Buddy Holly" typical of your singing voice, or was the effect more exaggerated by trying to keep it a bit like Rivers? Hearing you sing was a bit like the opposite of young me hearing Elton John or Phil Collins speak normally for the first time.

haha my voice on the backing vocals (right hand side) would probably be more representative, but I guess I do sound a little bit Transatlantic, embarrassingly enough

Thanks for checking out the songs.

Ah, well that certainly makes sense. We recorded a cover a XTC's "Making Plans for Nigel" a few months back that I ended up singing on, and I made a conscious effort to keep from doing a Colin Moulding impersonation throughout.

ACCENTS: FUNNY STUFF.
