Am I missing something here? The seller says it's been refinished, but doesn't it look like it's been mangled?

The body has definitely been refinished but it was done pretty well and there were no extra holes or routes added.

Did it fall against a lathe and down a mineshaft? Why not have Tim Burton make the body out of Play Doh and just not say anything? Why not pull poor Pinocchio's arms off and bolt a picnic table to his lungs?

Parts of it have been sanded the shit out of. It is no longer even a guitar. I wouldn't turn compost with it. Well, okay. I would paint it and pretend it was a real jazzmaster. I guess it could be an optical illusion because of the eyesore fake binding paintjob. And otherwise it has a lot of great parts and stuff. But can anyone tell me just WTF?

The horns look off, particularly the upper horn.
Neck looks so... SO sad.

The body looks too narrow and the control cavity looks too thin to me. It just looks odd. If this really is a 1960 Jazzmaster someones done a good job of fucking it up.

That thing's got that Balinese Candlewood, fake primitive African art vibe going for it.

Like oooh, I think this may be a rare Aari tribe sacrificial Jazzmaster...
