Guy calls me and says he wants to buy my mim tele and tom delonge guitar.
I do a quick ebay search and see that the values of my guitars in their condition is roughly at around 750 between the two.
this is what id get in return:
or
theyre both Made In japan. the black one is a 94 and the sunburst a 96.
im aiming for the sunburst because it has a mustang bridge and quarter pounders (!!!). (not in that pic).
whatdya guys think?

The sunburst sounds like a sweet deal, but I'd change the pickguard, red tort/pearl is hideous.

My wife was looking over my shoulder and said, "I hate that, the red looks like crap on the sunburst."

the only tort I really like on sunburst is that red from the mid 90s Japanese instruments.
it looks much better in real life than it does in pictures though.

I like them both. I had a CIJ Jazzer that I sold a few years ago. It was one of the nicest I have owned. So I never touched it. Issues.

US currency in PR, yeah. It's basically a state down here.
my guitars together are worth around 750.

Optimistically. But hey, if someone values them at $750 then power to you! I'd definitely go with the black one; sunburst is way overplayed.
Wish people would trade like that locally, fffuuu! Jealous! Enjoy your Jazzy, mate!
