The Bronco project kind of got derailed for a little bit while I worked on a batch of necks.

Anyway, I got the paint on and started the clearcoats. I'm about a half a can in on the clear. Should finish up this week then it's the waiting game.

Are you doing any restoration on the Bridge? You should photograph the parts and assembly of the bridge. Totally Epic.

I'm working on alternative replacement parts for Bronco Bridges. I've been talking with my brother-in-law who is a machinist about making
some parts as well. By the way, did you get the Swinger template I emailed you? I've ordered some wood and will be giving the template a
try as soon as it arrives. Notice the neck at the top of the picture above. :D

Very nice - details, please?
My neck is an "A" with tiny frets.

It's actually a 22.75" Squier Mini Strat neck with a modified headstock. I took pics of the whole process for the Swinger build thread I'm working on. Once I have the body made I'll post it all up. I'm getting pretty excited about putting this one together. Thanks again for the tracing. I sent taylornutt a copy to post in the template thread.

I received it. Much Thanks. I need to get it up on the template thread. I am very interested in your Bronco Bridge replacement ideas.

Update: It's completely painted with sand n sealer, primer, a can of Duplicolor Light Blue Metallic and 2 cans of clear. It hasn't been polished out yet but the finish is hard and pretty damn smooth so I wanted to put it together and see how things look. I'm really pleased with it. I polished the bridge out and put the new pickguard on. The bridge saddles are replacement saddles from a Vintage Modified Jaguar. The trem spring is from a Jaguar as well. The trem posts are Floyd Rose with threaded inserts. The bridge is functional and it can be played the way it is but it needs a trem arm holder before I can do the whameez. (I don't really do the whameez anyway) The pickguard is a vintage pearloid Chandler guard that I've been hanging on to for a good while now.

Thanks,
It was a Musicmaster pickguard. I routed the bridge pickup and toggle switch.
