first one had an EMG SELECT humbucker from Stewart MacDonald. very bright and loud.

sadly, the blue is not in service. the pickup and the tortoise ring are, however, on a different homemade guitar. the prototype is confined to history. thanks for the compliments though. i like it a lot too, which was why i had my friend build a proper model based on it. i wish i had the skills...

i'm not a guitar player, really, but i love the things to death and i use them to write little blues melodies like this.

yep. i wanted those double dots all over the board, not just at the 12th. it seemed to be more common on pre-war guitars.

The video makes me like the design even better. I always liked the combo of light blue guitars with black pickguards. Very nice.

I know mang, that oval pickguard is THE shit
