set neck, finally.

bolt-on necks on SGs suck ass.
Agreed! I'm not normally a hater on bolt ons vs set necks, but when it comes to SG's, they just don't feel right with bolt on necks.

I don't like that headstock on Gibson style solid bodies. It looks weird, I always thought Gibson was being unreasonable by doing that.

In the Japanese market the MIJ Epis use a more Gibson like headstock, it doesn't stop demand for USA made Gibson made products. In fact in Japan they have several copy companies with more Gibson like specs, Epiphone Japan, Orville licensed by Gibson, and yet USA made Gibson guitars are still in high demand.

I don't really like SG's but those are cool. It's a shame that I know I won't like the way they play.

If I was going to buy a Gibson one of those SG's would be the guitar I'd get. But there's a queue for my guitar affections and a Rickenbacker and some kind of JaPanese lawsuit guitar are ahead of the SG.

musTURD finish looking mighty tangy, if not cheapola. Neck binding with pretty much a clean slate on the headstock seems odd, but the general idea doesn't look all that funky to me.

Here's a big'un to gawk at.

I didn't notice until now, but I don't like the straight part of the pickguard above the neck pup. That looks weird.

The close-up makes the yellow not look quite as appealing to me. I still like the SG's though, I definitely want to play one when they come out, I've been wanting a P90 guitar for a long time!

Wow, didn't know they were bringing out the 339... been looking at the Gibsons, might give these a whirl first.

Are they available without nanomag pickup ? ... one thing I dislike...

Never been a fan of Epiphone but I think they can be made pretty decent given a little TLC

Don't know who 'Dwight Trash' is but how about these ?

this is the only dwight trash i've heard, but relating to Dwight Yoakam only in that it's a play on his first name.

Casino with a firebird headstock?
Yes please. Just remove that gaudy pickguard.
