MIJ telecaster project finished

Post by kapepepper »

Hi guys
picked up this seventies japanese copy two years ago, paid like 30 usd for it
brand is Condor. never found a lot of info on it
did not work, pu were dead and a horrible "natural" finish
finally did some work on it
put a nice MIJ fender neck pu in it and painted it turqouise :)
sanded the neck down, which does feel a lot more pleasant

oh man, that looks awesome. love the rounded edges and curvy body, especially with that color.

I love it!

I know the pickguard's probably white, but it makes it cooler in my mind if I picture it as chrome like the whole rest of the hardware

Bridge hardware is sexy with those curves, especially with the 3 saddles. Love the color too!

I'm also a fan of having the input jack on the control plate. I scrapped switches and pots on my tele for a 3-way and an output jack. Big gaping hole in the butt is funny, especially when you finger it. ;)

thanks for the comments

action is very good, and the guitar is very light; especially compared with my avri 52
But i like it a lot, even a bit more since I had to put some work and patience in it

but alreay thinking on a new project :)
