So i've just recently scored this Warwick Pedalboard offa evilbay for a £1 with £10 postage...
Bloody bargain if you ask me...but i've gotta cover the board with something for me pedals to stick to..
So i wanna know whats best to use..what comes recommended...

I have some heavyduty hook velcro for the bottom of me pedals, but am wondering if this will stick to
this kinda thing...

Or!...should i screw each pedal down?...
Please divulge your board secrets

I do bout 6 different bands all with different boards so I'm a fan of thick carpet cause it stops them moving about as much. But not at all. But it's easy to swap stuff round.

I prefer to screw my pedals down. You can buy pedal fixings from Johnny Shredfreak but the wood will need to be of a certain thickness or the screws will poke out the other side.

I made my own pedal board with a bit of plywood covered with an offcut of carpet I got free from a local carpet shop, bound with gaffa tape.

Was it someone on ss who'd used chain links from a bike chain instead of the shredfreak ones?..I can get them from work ;-)

i've heard a few people go for the links from JSF as J7 mentions and others mention the bike chains which is a similar attachment. I have some old carpet off cut on mine at the moment

Cheers for advice all!.. Am gonna punt for a 2ft Bit of that acoustic carpet first and see how I get on!
It'll only weigh in at a fiver so I can live with that if it don't work out!..then maybe split a chain or two
