Pedal advice for noise

I have potentially been offered a spot as a 3rd guitarist in my friends band (http://www.myspace.com/elementsofrefusal) doing atmospherics, noise and just adding texture to their sound while they twiddle away. Could anybody point me in the general direction of some decent, cheapish pedals that can help me do this.

I'm currently playing through the same set up I always have:

Digitec whammy > Boss Blues driver > Boss DF-2 Distortion&feedbacker > Behringer tremolo > Boss RC-3 Looper.

I'm guessing im going to have to bite the bullet and splash out on a decentish delay pedal, and probably a fuzz of some sort, is there anything else anybody can think of that I can use to decent effect?

I've used a few Behringer pedals in the past and have been impressed and I know Hurb is a fan, but which of their pedals are seriously, just as good as the pedals they are ripping off?

Its so long since I've written a proper guitar related post I feel (and sound) like a proper noob.

Grab a Zoom Ultra Fuzz (lots of fuzz flavours, controllable and odd self-oscillation), a Behringer VD400 (analogue delay, clone of some unobtanium Boss I can't remember the name of, seriously one of the best delays I've ever had) and a Behringer RV600 (Verbzilla clone - ace reverbs, plus the Space setting for infinite reverbs). I'd also recommend the Ibanez PM-7 if you can find one - does trem, phase and ring mod. Seriously, I could get by with those four for ages, great pedals. I'd offer you my Victor Kiam moneyback guarantee on any of these.*

* But please don't hold me to it too much, since I'm pretty brassic.

reverb - behringer rv600
fuzz/distortion - big muff
delay - eh memory man (if money is no issue)
- behringer delay (think its dd100) if money is

other than that you may have it covered. possibly a volume pedal of some description then you can do some swells?

sounds like a great opportunity, just getting to sit back and embelish upon what theyre doing. get listening to some live versions of the verves early work. nick mccabe is a genius in that field

A ring mod of some sort on the board certainly wouldn't hurt. I think some green ringer clones can be had fairly cheap.

I was just going to ask about maybe going for the digital delay after checking it out on hurbs gear demo, but then I luckily clicked on mikes demo of the VD400, more specifically 06m04s on mikes demo and FUCKING YES WAY!

I have heard a lot of people say this about them. I must have been a lucky one, cause I haven't had one bit of trouble with mine, been using it for about 2 years now, even had beer spilt on it and it still works (adds to the tone).

I do have it wired to the OneSpot, via the battery clip adaptor and the battery clip coming through the output jack hole, so not perfectly stable haha.

If you're interested Louis, & I get lucky on an ebay auction tonight, I'll have one of these I'll be letting go.

I was probably the one responsible for bad mouthing these around here, as I had 2 faulty out of the box before this one...

However... this one has been faultless and the others probably down to a 'dodgy batch' as Electro Harmonix put it.

Anyways the offer is potentially there if you're interested.

Put your amp (if it's a combo) on a crate, turn on the delay and point your pickups at the amp and feedback away. A Bigsby will make it easier.

Everything that people have suggested is cool. the behringer superfuzz is good noisy fuzz without oscillation. you can have mine if you like.
But to be quite honest just try and be noisy with what you have, you should get plenty crazy with what you have. change up your playing style...just think I have to sound as horrible as possible.

? How much do you want for it? It would save me a GAK order.

I'm also trying to keep my costs down on this as if it doesn't work out and I can't get the sound they're looking for (I don't know if you've checked the link but they're pretty fucking heavy), I'm not stuck with a bunch of pedals I won't really use.

+1 on the Behringer Super Fuzz.
I made one of them feedback loopers for Â£20 Louis, really easy to do and great for noise with a Delay.

Behringer Delays are about the best value for money, Belcat and Biyang get good reviews as well.
