do you like these? i am not sure if i do or not, but i for sure think it looks better than that jazzmaster-explorer hybrid in the other thread.
hadn't ever heard of this crap before, but a cool end product i guess. the formica one is bad ass. i think it's the pickguards that make them look chaep.

Do not want fancy finishes- solid colours ftw. And yes, the pickguards are ugly.

I'm familiar with these from The reranch forum, dude started out as a hobbyist and then started a company. I think he was already a cabinet maker.
He made some really cool Firebird copies, I like those Firebird copies better than these.

these are fun designs, but the fret king looks better aesthetically and practically.

I'm down with that Junior, but maybe put a real LP jr pickguard on it?

I am down with these:
The orange one is really nice. Would love to see with tummy cutouts.
And the carved top Daylighter is kind of growing on me. So maybe it is more for the finish and presentation that what they actually are.

Rick Turner was the first dude I ever saw use Formica like that on a solid body.

The finishes look like a diner table on those two. I love that red one though. Gee-whizz!

I would play that one Icey posted. The rest are pretty wank.

Hate that bandaid color and it's a bit aerodyne but I kind of like the chunkiness of the shape. It's not a featureless slab like classic aerodynes
It would look good with binding and a dark back and MORE GOLD, or something

Kauer, Rob. It's the same as what the thread is called.
Looks cool. I don't like the flashier ones, to be honest, but the top few are cool.

Ah, finally, the money shot, I love this guitar. The body shape goes well with the LP treatment. Maybe cream P 90's instead of white. Too bad it's 3-4 times what I can pay for a guitar
