How could I get a guitar tone like this?

Seriously, the clean and dirty tones he's getting are gorgeous. Would this depend more on the amp or the guitar?

Ah Autolux great band, seen them a couple times & they were great live.

Does'nt sound anything more to me than a little overdrive & some reverb, shouldn't be too hard to dial in a similar sound.

Have recommendations for a good overdrive pedal? I've tried a Monarch and I kind of liked that.

Also, how do you think he gets that sound at 2:06 and 2:10 in this video?
