as standard on my setup with keyboard and a mic plugged in.
They are a properly solid band. I lived with the singer/guitarist when I was back from uni as he lived with Hayley. They started around then and have been going ever since, the main 2 in the band are also in another "bigger" band, but I think they are getting a bit sick of it being part of the backing band for the lead singers ego and need to turn it up to 11 again.
Looking foward to it, hope it works out, we hang out anyway so it should be fine.
Thanks for this little tidbit. I had great pleasure in taking the person I spoke to at GAK to school after he tried to tell me that I should totally buy Boss because a behringer pedal would definately explode and blow my foot off. Fuck all this shit, I say just manipulate what you have. "Noisemaker" pedals have always been so detrimental to me personally for finding interesting sounds, like having someone give you all the answers to your finals or something: hollow victory.
That said, a delay with a few seconds is very useful and flexible, worth picking up a Behringer for pocketchange totally.

Their songs change up so quickly that I need some immediate (don't know if thats the best word to explain it) effects to change with them, The looper I have is awesome, but one of the limitations is that there is a minimum amount of time you have to be playing before you can stop recording your loop, then to delete the loop you need to either hold the footpedal down (with the loop playing) or manually delete it by selecting the option on the pedal by hand and holding the button down. If you're playing traditional pop or punk songs there is a good chance that you will use the loop again when the next verse/chorus kicks in, so its useful, But shit is going off so fast with these guys that its not possible to rely on it. A delay on the other hand (which as I've said, I wanted one anyway) will give me decent feedback but without having to do too much to stop it if needs be. (I've just read that all back and it sounds retarded but I know what I mean!)
They want noise but theres only so many times I can wiggle my foot on the whammy pedal while getting feedback before it gets old. They also want to add more texture and depth to their sound and so big reverb and delay will help me do that, plus with a bit of fuzz it will be nice, plus the oscillation on the vintage delay sounds excellent in mikes demo.
From a drunken night out in Cardiff at the weekend with John (singer) they sound as excited as me to be trying this out, nobody really knows what's going to happen or how the songs are going to change and I think thats awesome. We've all known each other for years and I can't wait, plus its been so long since I bought any guitar related gear I'm well overdue.
