I've now got the chance to get this for £47 shipped, in mint condition. Should I go for it?roachello wrote:![]()

This rescued me at an acoustic gig I did recently when I thought I didn't have tuner, my guitar was really out of tune and someone had it on his iphone. It turned out that I did have a tuner after all, I found it buried in the bottom of my bag after the gig.lorez wrote:I use the polytune on my iphone a lot. comes in handy so many times
I'm thinking that the ability to just strum between songs live would save a fair whack of time, and the Polytune looks as small as any other tuner. Reckon I don't need a Buffer for now anyway, so it seems like a logical purchase.lorez wrote:I use the polytune on my iphone a lot. comes in handy so many times

Don't see me needing a buffer anytime soon, since the Zoom seems to have one of some sort (alters the tone slightly I think). Besides, I don't see me having much more than the Polytune, PD-01, Fredric IC Muff and Small Clone on the board for the foreseeable future.Mike wrote:That's definitely the most expensive and inconvenient solution.johnnyseven wrote:If you find you need a buffer at a later date you could always buy one of Tim's uber small ones for your pedal board.
A pedal, a buffer, an extra patch cable, an extra power cable...
As a side note, Tim's IC Muff which I just recently got off Noirie is fantastic; a brilliant contrast to the MBM Custom Green Muff Saltbooster which the bassist is using now. Really cuts through the mix well and acts as a good solo boost on top of the Zoom.

This is what hjas gotten the job done for me for about 3 years. It has never ever caused any trouble and if used with a 9v battery the battery lasts forever.

i'm trying to sell mine for 10 bucks locally and no one's interested. they are good tuners, and for 10 bucks you can't go wrong. not sure why no ones buyin'
i have a danelectro tuner pedal that's so crap, i'm too ashamed to list it for even a dollar.

I've been trying to buy a DT-10 for ages, had a post in the classifieds too. Not "local" to you granted, but would have gladly paid shipping etc to UKgaybear wrote:MikeG wrote:I have the DT-10. It's excellent.

Gave up and got Lorez's Ibanez one instead.
