my custom CIJ JAG

My first Jaguar, i love it and will never sell it, this is my favorite guitar i have ever owned, got it for a decent price and put a good amount of work into it, but was well worth the effort, sounds amazing just as it looks
here is it before the work was done to the neckImage

here is the guitars story since i got it about 2 weeks ago, i added a few things to it, first i changed all the chrome, just to make it newer than it was, it was used but in excellent condition, than i added the Fender Jaguar Mute system, than over the weekend last weekend, i did the Block inlays and Bindings, they came out better than i have ever done and in record time i might add, i am very proud to own this guitar, i won it on ebay from a vintage guitar store , i can't believe the guitar doesn't have any dings or scratches on it, just the chrome had little spots here and there, tiny ones, almost like microscopic rust, not even noticeable, but changed the chrome anyway, i wanted it to really shine when the neck was done,

here is the necks story in photosImage

before and after with the neck, i even liked it with dots, but i recently got so good at doing the B and B that i had to have it on my own guitar, Image

hope i didn't make anyone made at me posting a few photos, i just love taking pics of guitars and posting them as well, , thanks for looking guys, god bless

Jag-Stang Mod

Post by Mister Neutron »

I love my Jag-Stang, but like many I wanted a little more "oomph" from the pickups, so I installed a lipstick and a PAF by GFS (www.guitarfetish.com). The Mustang switches are disabled, volume control for each pickup, 3-way mini-toggle. It's a real little honey now.

I don't have the 2 LPB ones any more, I find it very difficult to part with gear unless I'm trading it out. So it keeps growing. My guitars are usually scattered about at different friends houses I play with so I thought I'd snap a pic while just about everything is here. The P-Bass isn't here tho.

sounds awesome. i sold my mustang. thinking about selling my sg with p90s. greatest cheapest most fun guitar i've ever owned. i beat the everliving fuck out of it on tour, and aside from stripping the strap buttons and jacking the volume pot, it still rules. those were easy fixes, too. when i run this duo into the ground, i'll probably buy another one and make the exact same changes. oh, but the p90 sounds great. sounds like a p90, but it def still sounds like a short scale fender at the same time. it's darker and louder than the stock pups, but with the proper amp settings it still gets the high twang.
